My prayer

Trish and I pray for so many things. I know that some folks think that GOD isn't concerned about the little things but the truth is, if it matters to us, it matters to GOD. So, we pray about everything. We want to be good people, good parents, good spouses, good children, good siblings, good whatever; we want others to see GOD through us, and we want GOD to be pleased with us.

Not only do we pray for many things, others pray for us, which is what we ask for. We need your prayers. We need your prayers for us to be what GOD wants us to be, for us to be in tune with GOD'S will in our lives. I've actually had someone tell me that they were fine and didn't need prayers. Let me tell you, you can pray for me every day, constantly, consistently, continually. I need it.

Speaking of prayers/blessings, one of my favorites comes form Numbers 6:24 - 26, and I will use the Message today: "GOD bless you and keep you, GOD smile on you and gift you, GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper."

That's my prayer for everyone, everyone doing GOD'S will, or at least seeking GOD'S will. I certainly pray that GOD will bless and keep us, and smile on us and gift us. The best part, though, is the last verse...may GOD look you FULL IN THE FACE and make you prosper.

GOD, when He looks at me, doesn't see all my shortcomings and failures; He sees the blood of His Son, JESUS CHRIST. And, because I am covered in His blood, because I have accepted Him as my Savior, because I am an heir, GOD prospers me. Not because He has to, because He loves me and wants to.

May GOD bless you and keep you, smile on you and gift you, look on you and prosper you!
